We are proud to present the CF&KC-SA Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) — a meaningful milestone in our ongoing commitment to walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with respect, accountability, and action.
This document is more than just a roadmap—it’s a commitment to fostering genuine and meaningful relationships with First Nations communities and it takes deliberate steps toward reconciliation.
We are proud to feature artwork in the RAP - a piece called ‘Love’, created by Mali Isabel, an emerging Arabana/Kokatha artist, specifically for CF&KC-SA as part of their reconciliation journey.
During National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June 2025), we reflect on this year’s theme, “Bridging Now to Next”, which speaks to the enduring connection between past, present, and future. Our RAP launch is one step in that journey — grounded in truth-telling, deep listening, and shared responsibility. We are grateful to those who have guided us so far, and we acknowledge that we still have much to learn.
Reconciliation is only possible when we work together, and we thank the carers, partners, and communities who continue to guide us forward.
Reconciliation Australia welcomes Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers SA to the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) program with the formal endorsement of its inaugural Reflect RAP. CF&KC-SA joins a network of more than 3,000 corporate, government, and not-for-profit organisations that have made a formal commitment to reconciliation through the RAP program.
