Volunteer Board Chairperson role
Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers SA Inc (CF&KC-SA), the independent peak body for foster and kinship carers across South Australia, are seeking to appoint a Chairperson (volunteer role) for a three year term.
Join the existing dedicated skills-based Board, working to ensure the vision of the organisation is realised within a structure of contemporary governance and leadership and the highest standards of probity and reliability. With our current Chairperson tenure coming to a close, CF&KC-SA is proactively seeking a passionate, professional individual with skills in governance and board management.
Expressions of interest are invited from both experienced and emerging governance professionals. AICD qualifications will be well regarded but are not essential. An affinity and understanding in regard to the Carer community will be helpful.
The successful candidates will be attracted by an organisation with a compelling vision and be committed to making a positive impact in this sector by working collegially within the Board setting. Strongly developed leadership, relationship building, influencing and communication capabilities will be important qualities for effective contribution to this Board.
