New graduates pioneering the way for carer education

The first SA cohort of graduates were awarded qualifications in Child, Youth and Family Intervention at Parliament House today (4 February 2020) by Child Protection Minister Rachel Sanderson – click here to read the media release

The Certificate IV/Diploma qualifications are the result of a ground-breaking collaboration between carers’ peak body Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers SA and the Bradford Institute of Advanced Education. It marks the first opportunity for foster and kinship carers to gain qualifications based on studies relevant to their responsibilities as carers.
