Do you wish policy-influencers heard your young person’s voice?

The Commissioner for Children & Young People invites your young person to a 1-hour group chat about ways to improve our child protection system. The Commissioner is keen to hear what workers can do differently when supporting young people.

Their voice will inform and improve child protection practices that affect them, and the Commissioner will transform your young person’s ideas into a report that advocates for change.

We will hold two sessions in the upcoming July school holidays. Food and drinks provided. To participate, young people are aged 10 to 18 and are either under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive, Long Term Guardianship, or are a foster or kinship sibling (the Carer’s biological children, for example).

There are two sessions to choose from:

Thursday 14th July 2022
12.15-1.15pm (food and drinks provided)
Venue – Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Inc, Old Reynella
