CEO Fiona Endacott to bid farewell
Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers SA (CF&KC-SA) announces that Chief Executive Officer Fiona Endacott will bid farewell to the organisation in December 2025, following more than six and a half years of dedicated and impactful leadership.
During her time as CEO, Fiona has led CF&KC-SA through a period of growth, influence, and connection — strengthening its role as the independent voice for South Australia’s foster and kinship carers. Her leadership has seen major advances in carer-led advocacy, the development of peer support and qualification programs, and deeper partnerships with community and government that have created lasting, positive change.
The Board extends its heartfelt thanks to Fiona for her vision, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to carers and the children they support.
Board Chair Nancy Penna said:
“Fiona’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping CF&KC-SA into the strong, respected organisation it is today. Her dedication to amplifying carer voices and influencing positive systemic change has left an enduring legacy. We thank her sincerely for her passion and integrity, and wish her every success in her next chapter.”
Reflecting on her time with CF&KC-SA, Fiona said:
“It has been an incredible privilege to lead this organisation and to work alongside such passionate, committed people. I’m deeply proud of what we’ve achieved together — strengthening the voice of carers, influencing change, and building an organisation grounded in care, courage, and community. We have achieved so much, and the time is simply perfect for me to leave the organisation after more than 6 years.”
The Board has commenced a planned transition process to ensure strong continuity of leadership. An interim CEO will be appointed shortly, and recruitment for the permanent CEO will begin in due course.
CF&KC-SA remains firmly focused on its mission: to advocate for, connect, and support foster and kinship carers across South Australia.
