Have your say – Education Dept review

Have your say in the Department for Education’s Review into Public Education Beyond Mainstream Schooling

The Department for Education is undertaking a systemic review of current non-mainstream education settings for students enrolled in SA Government schools (public schools). It will examine how non-mainstream settings (alternative schooling options operating alongside conventional public schooling) support students and will identify different or new approaches where needed to enhance student learning.

We at the peak are preparing a submission to ensure the voice of carers is included in this important review. To help formulate CF&KC-SA’s findings for this submission, we have designed a short 5-minute survey to hear from our family-based carers.

If you wish to share ideas on how non-mainstream and mainstream public education could better support your foster/kinship child, or have experience dealing with non-mainstream schooling for your foster/kinship child, we want to hear from you!

To have your say, complete the survey here by 9am Wednesday 8th October. The survey is based on the questions posed by the review.

We look forward to hearing from you!
