Invitation to attend the AGM

We invite you to join us at the Connecting Foster Carers – SA Inc (CFC-SA) AGM to review and celebrate the past year, meet with Board members and staff, and help us pass amendments that will contribute to the future of CFC-SA.

CFC-SA proposes the following special resolutions and will call for a *vote from Members in accordance with our constitution:

1. Amendments to constitution: Add clause 15 and amend clause 16 on page 13. These amendments are to meet requirements for CFC-SA’s charitable status application and to reflect changes which have occurred since the current Constitution was drafted. To review the proposed changes, please click here.
2. Adopt formal change of name to: ‘Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers – SA Inc’. This change of name is proposed to reflect the past, present and future work of the organisation in representing kinship carers and to formally acknowledge the inclusion of kinship carer families.

*If you are unable to attend, you may appoint in writing a natural person who is also a Member to be your proxy, and attend and vote at the AGM.

At the meeting we will also be confirming Board appointments for 2018 and there will be a presentation of highlights from attendees at the National ‘Shine a Light’ Foster & Kinship Carer Conference.

We also welcome Members to stay on for a light morning tea and attend the Board meeting following the AGM:

Along with regular Board business, we plan to present our draft Strategic Plan for 2018 and beyond together with a presentation by Robyn Skilbeck from DCP who will provide an update on Other Person Guardianship (OPG).
